We celebrated the holidays with our staff earlier this month at our annual Zephyr Holiday Party in our SF Showroom. The one thing that I am personally thankful for is our dedicated staff. We would not be the company we are today without them. This year, we recognized two employees that have been with Zephyr for 10 years: Gil Ligh and Jeremy Snider. Every single Zephyr employee contributes to the company’s success and as I look back and reflect on 2013, I must say “Thank You” to all of you. Happy New Year and cheers to a prosperous 2014!

Just in case you’re a last minute holiday shopper (like, ahem… some of us…) we did a round up of a few favorite bloggers and magazines and selected them as our Gift Guide Authorities. They have done the leg work for you with links to cool products and their own feedback on why they’ve selected these must-have gifts for the holidays. So whether your loved one is a foodie, techie or home chef, they have you covered!
In addition to the cutest blog name ever, Bon Bon Break provides a place where bloggers can showcase their material for readers and introduces exceptional blogs in an easy and fun format. They have a ton of kitchen gifts in their “Gift Guide Ideas for the Home Chef” post; here’s a preview of some products they’ve selected.
The perfect gifts for foodies from Amanda at A Life Well Lived (links to the products in her post can be found here) include Moscow Mule mugs, an adorable mint green cake stand and Vitamix blender.
The editors at one of our favorite magazines, House Beautiful, showcase their favorite gadgets, kitchenware and appliance gifts for the chef in your family. We love the idea of this sweet organic dwarf meyer lemon plant from Vivaterra – it can sit on your window sill so you always have access to fresh lemons while cooking! And how cute is the ceramic pie dish with a removable blackbird steam vent?!
Finally, for all your local SF foodies out there, here’s a round up from Bay Area Bites
blog of some great holiday gifts from the Farmers Market Ferry Plaza. Not featured in this post (but definitely one of our favorite Ferry Building stores) is the Cowgirl Creamery. A sampling of their gourmet cheeses below. Yum. And while we’re on the “local SF” topic, check out this list of “Made in the Bay
” gifts from the SFMOMA Museum Store. The Jenny Pennywood Napkins and Tea Towels are all screen printed and made in SF with waterbased inks.
Good luck and happy shopping!
Would you ever put your Christmas tree in the kitchen? Technically, that’s where everyone visits, bakes and spends most of the time during the holidays, so we think it makes perfect sense! Or, maybe a smaller tree for the kitchen, while the big, decorated tree stays in the living room? We’ve gathered a few photos from bloggers around the web to provide some inspiration. Hope you are enjoying the holiday season!
