Zephyr is expanding its collection of Black Stainless Steel hoods with the introduction of the Breeze II and Cyclone Under-Cabinet. The industry’s first under-cabinet Black Stainless Steel hoods feature a sleek timeless design, powerful performance, and anti-smudge coating for easy cleaning.
The hoods are designed with laminated black stainless, which is achieved by fusing a black laminated material onto stainless steel sheets. This gives designers and homeowners a bold alternative to traditional under-cabinet hoods at an affordable price. Breeze II and Cyclone are part of Zephyr’s Essentials Collection, and an extension of the popular black stainless steel wall models, which also include the Anzio, Ravenna, and Savona.
“We had such a great response to the black stainless steel wall models that it was a natural step for us to introduce under-cabinet hoods in this sleek new material,” says Luke Siow, Zephyr President. “Designers and consumers want options when it comes to styles, colors, and features; we’re proud to offer a ventilation solution for every kitchen.”
The Breeze II is available in 30- and 36-inches and features Zephyr’s new BriteStrip™ LED lighting. The energy-efficient BriteStrip™ outputs an even 3,000K (Kelvin temperature scale) warm white color to ensure the cooking surface is properly illuminated. The Cyclone, also available in 30- and 36-inches, has the optional Bloom™ GU10 LED lights that are the only dimmable GU10 LEDs using standard 120V AC power approved for use in a range hood. The energy efficient, 6-watt LEDs last up to 20,000 hours, which equate to approximately 30 years, and provide near-halogen light warmth
