Zephyr Loves Designers Ventilation Winning Kitchen Design Project Featuring Siena Wall Range Hood
San Diego-based designer Rachel Moriarty of Rachel Moriarty Interiors won the Zephyr Loves Designers contest for ventilation based on her project featuring our Siena Wall range hood.
“This project was a small beach house in La Jolla, CA with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean. My client’s love for the color blue served as my muse in this renovation project that we refer to as ’50 Shades of Blue.’ The moment you step into the space, you see the counter-to-ceiling blue patterned tile feature wall which is truly a showstopper. Since no kitchen is complete without an incredible appliance suite, we paired a cobalt Viking range with a modern Zephyr Siena hood. The hood serves as more than just a functional exhaust system. I selected it for its sleek and polished design that shines like a beacon and adds the perfect touch of modernity to this space. We added warmth and organic elements with the live edge Acacia shelving that flanks the hood as well as an Acacia live edge slab on the island. The organic interplay between the blue tiles, carefully chosen appliances, and the ocean scenery creates a serene atmosphere that echoes the beauty of the natural surroundings.” —Rachel Moriarty, Designer

Zephyr Loves Designers Presrv™ Refrigeration Winning Design Project Featuring Presrv™ Beverage Cooler
Texas-based designer Karon Padgett of Triple C Farmhouse won the Zephyr Loves Designers contest Presrv™ Refrigeration category for their project featuring the Zephyr Presrv® Beverage Cooler.
“A little about the space: When I designed this bar area, I wanted it to be unlike any other space in our home. Given its centralized location, I wanted it to be a space where we could use for entertaining guests, but also an area that our guests felt they could help themselves. I incorporated the Presrv™ Beverage Cooler in this space because of its sleek modern design and it allows guests to see drink options without even opening the cooler. Seeing our family and friends feel comfortable and welcome in our home is a dream come true!” —Karon Padgett, Designer

Zephyr Loves Designers Contest Info
Zephyr Loves Designers is an annual contest where designers submit images of kitchen design projects featuring Zephyr range hoods and Presrv™ wine coolers, beverage coolers, refrigerators, and kegerators. We select a winner for Presrv™ and a winner for ventilation two times each year.
The second half of the social media contest runs from July 1st – December 1st 31st, 2023. To enter, simply tag @DiscoverZephyr in your photo featuring Zephyr Ventilation or Presrv™ Refrigeration.
