Zephyr To Showcase Its Leading Products In Design, Innovation, and Technology At 2016 Architectural Digest Design Show

Cheng Collection Designer Fu-Tung Cheng To Present On Design Partnership and Products

SAN FRANCISCO, March, 2017 — Zephyr, the leader in ventilation hood design, innovation and technology, will showcase its hoods at the Architectural Digest Design Show in New York City, from March 17–20, 2016. In partnership with its distribution partner, Distinctive Appliances Distributing, Zephyr will exhibit leading hoods from its Arc, Cheng, and Essentials Collections. Zephyr Designer, Fu-Tung Cheng, will be at the booth on Thursday, March 17th to speak at multiple media and designer events on his partnership with Zephyr and evolution as a designer.

“The Architectural Digest Design Show is the perfect platform to showcase our products to leading designers,” says Luke Siow, Zephyr President. “We pride ourselves on being the ventilation specialists and having an option for every homeowner, and are excited to showcase our newest design, technology, and innovation at the show.”

Design

Limited Edition Okeanito, designed by Zephyr Design Partner, Fu-Tung Cheng, is part of the Cheng Collection; a 10-year history of products that combine timeless design with natural materials. This graceful sweeping hood features mixed metallics (Black Mirror Stainless and Rose Gold) and Zephyr’s groundbreaking technology to create a new timeless focal point in kitchen design.

Horizon is part of Zephyr’s Arc Collection, a line of modern range hoods designed in collaboration with Robert Brunner (former Apple Computer designer and designer of the Amazon Kindle, Beats by Dre Headphones, etc.). A dramatic marriage of form meets function; the Horizon features a customizable glass surface available in red, black, or white and can be etched with a leaf motif or chain links pattern.

Innovation

Lux Island discretely mounts into the ceiling above the range or cooktop for an unobstructed view of the kitchen. The modern, minimalist lines of Lux give homeowners an “out of sight, out of mind” appearance, yet it doesn’t compromise on power or performance. Featuring Perimeter Aspiration (a technique that moves airflow from the central area and evenly distributes it through narrow openings around the perimeter of the hood) with multiple blower options, LED light strips and a wireless remote control, the Lux is the invisible workhorse behind the toughest cooking jobs.

Wave’s slim profile complements kitchen décor styles from transitional to modern. The square-shaped features a slight tilt and smooth glass panel in black or white. Wave is ideal for homeowners that crave a bold, vertical design and an alternative to stainless steel. Dual Capture Zones collect contaminates through two entry points (back and front) to improve capture performance and ensure a smoke- and debris-free kitchen. And an industry first, tri-level LED light strip illuminates the cooking surface, while creating a warm white glow that is evenly distributed on the cooktop.

Incline is the most economical vertical style hood on the market and features Dual Filtration, Perimeter Aspiration, a tri-level LED light strip and wireless remote control. Available in stainless steel or white, Incline brings clean lines and a touch of chic to your transitional, minimal or modern kitchen.

Technology

Verona Wall features the exclusive DCBL Suppression System® Technology, which offers the quietest, most powerful and energy efficient technology on the market today. This technology combines a Direct Current (DC) motor and on-board computer, which reduces the hood’s noise by up to 77 percent, and reduces energy by almost 80 percent. The hood’s Bloom™ HD LED light bulbs were designed in partnership with commercial camera lens designers and have a life cycle of 25,000 hours. They are the only range hood LED light bulbs on the market that are dimmable with near-halogen light warmth, yet remain cool to the touch regardless of how long they are in use.

Lucé range hood with ICON Touch® Controls features industry-first technology with fully integrated touch controls, 3-color accent lights, and a modern aesthetic that combines glamour with technology. The ICON Touch® Controls seamlessly integrate into the hood’s stainless steel canopy and homeowners can easily control the 5-speeds, delay-off function, and auto reminders. Integrated LED lights are available in Cloud White, Deep Blue, and Amber.
