Dwell on Design 2014 Recap

June 27, 2014

We had a great time at Dwell on Design last week and snapped some photos to share with our readers. The major trends we noticed this year were smart appliances, sustainability, and of course – what Dwell is always known for – sleek, modern design. While in Los Angeles, we met with the LA Times Home Editor and two of our favorite bloggers who we’re excited to partner with in the coming months. At the show, we participated in a progressive #KBTribeChat, which is always a good time and an opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes looks at some new products coming to market.

We stopped by Oh Joy’s studio – she is known for her use of bright color and pattern and is (hopefully!) going to install a Zephyr hood in her new kitchen.

We also met with Jeanne from CozyStylishChic. We love her round-ups that always feature great info on new products with gorgeous photos. We hope to collaborate with Jeanne very soon; we love her style!

During the show we participated in a progressive KBTribeChat and visited Miele, American Standard and Mr. Steam. It’s always great to put a face to a “Twitter handle”!

Miele showcased its new PureLine and CountourLine, which is part of its new Generation 6000 series of appliances.

American Standard displayed its “Smart Toilet” that opens upon approach, eliminating germs, and features a heated seat, cleansing functionality, drying and auto flush.
